I’m a Calgary-born art director and designer who spent 14 years working in San Francisco across advertising, digital, and interactive.
I’m happiest at the front end of a project, finding the idea, pushing it somewhere unexpected, then staying close enough to the work to make sure the execution lives up to it. I’ve done that for brands including Nike, EA, Mercedes-Benz and Kaiser Permanente, at agencies including Critical Mass, Freestyle Interactive, Grey and Havas.
My work has crossed film, digital, interactive, brand, and physical experiences, earning industry recognition along the way, including a Cannes Cyber Lion.
Before any of that, I performed with Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus as part of the Royal Aerial Canadian Ski Squadron, launching off a ramp and doing aerials into an airbag in a
three-ring circus.
Apparently I’ve always been comfortable with unusual briefs.
